OUR COUPLES

ROYAL HOSPITAL

CHELSEA

March

Set in the historic grounds of The Royal Hospital Chelsea; we were asked by our friends at Blue Strawberry to design flowers for one of their wonderful weddings.

Our couple wanted to bring in soft colours for the tables.  They knew they wanted something beautiful and transformative to fill the marquee space, but they wanted some inspiration and ideas.

On long tables, running the length of the marquee, we placed stunning individual vases of seasonal spring sweetpeas, lily of the valley, scented roses, scabious, scented freesia, lilac and astilbe.  The colour palette ranged from soft pink to pure white with natural foliage to blend between the spectrum of colour.  Between the mixes of vases, we used cut glass lanterns to soften the space further with flickering candlelight.

The bar was circular which is ideal for filling space and for serving your guests.  Hanging from the structure of the marquee, we placed a metal frame that we filled with flowers, pouring down in a romantic cascade to create a spectacular chandelier that created a focal point for the marquee.

Using roses as our hero flower, we also used stocks, lisianthus, and hydrangea to complete this stunning chandelier.  Embedded within, we also placed lanterns to give extra twinkling light among the flowers for that perfect romantic glow for this beautiful couple and their guests.
