Positive impact

Sustainability is entwined in every element of our work at Pinstripes & Peonies. By 2030 we aim to be Net Zero.   

The entire P&P team have undertaken Carbon Literacy training to understand how to adopt sustainable practices, minimise our carbon footprint, preserve resources and promote greener events.

Our training was given by Positive Planet who specialise in carbon literacy for the Events industry. As part of this, all team members had to make an Environmental Pledge. Examples include:

• Setting up the Second Hand Flower Shop to further reduce the volume of flowers going into compost bins 

• Creating opportunities to educate industry peers and clients about the small, non-expensive changes in our floral designs that will produce a lower carbon footprint

• Refining our list of suppliers based on distance and aligned sustainability values 

• Sourcing opportunities to shout about our Positive Impact Initiatives to spread knowledge and gain support for this good work

• Swapping all packaging to options that are 100% recyclable or compostable  

• Considering transport options including cycle to work schemes and car-pooling
